Alfred Rubin Thompson is an up-and-coming triple threat specializing in acting, voice-over,writing and producer. With his trademark deep baritone voice and tall stature, Alfred grabs his fan’s attention both on and off the screen. Recently, he worked with great talent Joaquin Phoenix in JOKER: Folie a Deux.

AVATAR: A GENERATIONAL FILM
"Avatar: The Way of Water" is the sequel to the 2009 film "Avatar", directed by James Cameron. It continues the story of Jake Sully and Neytiri, now parents, as they face a new threat from the returning sky people. The film explores the Na'vi culture of the Metkayina, who live in harmony with the ocean, and emphasizes themes of family, survival, and the importance of protecting one's home. The Avatar film series, directed by James Cameron, has taken audiences on a visual and narrative journey through the world of Pandora. The first film, Avatar (2009), introduced viewers to the planet and its indigenous Na'vi people, focusing on the conflict between human colonists and the Na'vi over resources and land. Ryan Coogler's mind seems to be a space where creativity, cultural awareness, and a deep understanding of human connection intersect. He's known for his ability to craft compelling narratives that blend genre conventions with insightful social commentary, particularly within the Black community. His films often explore themes of identity, resilience, and the power of community, drawing inspiration from his own experiences and observations. Many of Coogler's films have received widespread acclaim and commercial success. His work has been hailed by critics for centering on often overlooked cultures and characters—most notably African Americans.
HOW WE LOOK AT FILM
In film theory, "Cinesthesia" refers to the concept of how a film engages our senses to create a multi-sensory and immersive experience, drawing us into the world of the film. To effectively analyze a film, one can employ various critical approaches, such as formalist, narrative, ideological, psychoanalytic, and cultural/historical analysis. These methods involve examining technical aspects, story structure, ideological messages, unconscious symbolism, and the film's context within its time period. Ultimately, analyzing film involves noticing deliberate stylistic choices and understanding how they contribute to the film's meaning

BEHIND THE LENS
This refers to the perspective and understanding of photography and film making that goes beyond simply operating the camera. It encompasses the technical knowledge of how light interacts with the lens, how different lenses affect the image, and how to manipulate camera settings to achieve a desired effect. It also involves the creative vision and artistic choices a photographer or filmmaker makes when composing a shot and telling a story.
